S. Shriman Narayan
Mr. S.Shriman Narayan is a Technical Expert in the Land Use Planning and Management project, leading policy reforms and capacity building for the state of Tamil Nadu. He is an Economist and a Geographer, with extensive experience and expertise in the development sector with particular expertise in water and energy. His strengths lie in identifying key stakeholders, assessing their interest and influence, developing strong management plans, and engage and influence stakeholders.
Shriman has led important projects as part of various international forums pertaining to action research in India on energy, malnutrition, and water resources management. Furthermore, he assisted the formulation of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and placed India’s water security concern in Singapore’s International Water Week. He has worked with leading international agencies and organisations such as the UNDP (New York), UNICEF (Paris), GWF (London), Veolia (India), and UNDP-GEF (India). He holds advanced degrees from the University of Oxford, the University of Essex, NALSAR University of Law, and St Stephen’s College, Delhi.
