With a Master of Urban and Regional planning as a base, Mr. Felix Knopf gained work experiences in a series of academic and professional activities in Europe, Latin America and India. He is skilled in climate oriented urban development, urban land use planning, renewable energies and energy efficiency as well as water and sanitation.
In his professional career, Felix has worked mainly with urban local bodies, supporting them in both strategical and technical development of the city. His belief is that well-conceived planning processes are indispensable for a sustainable urban and rural development. Mr. Knopf is keen on steering mechanisms of urban development and innovative approaches of governance systems. He joined the Land Use Planning in Management project in 2016 and support the project Director at the GIZ head office in New Delhi.
