As an outcome of a 6-day skills development course conducted by GIZ under the “Sustainable and Environment-friendly Industrial Production” (SEIP) project for selected technicians and helpers working at the industrial wastewater treatment plants, the effluent treatment plant at M/s Meenakshi Polymers Pvt. Ltd. in Haridwar has started showing remarkable improvement by reducing pollution levels as well achieving cost reduction.
In continuation of the successfully conducted environment improvement drive taken up in June/July 2016 in the Patparganj Industrial Area in New Delhi, the Patparganj FIE Entrepreneurs Association (PFEA) conducted another drive for cleanliness from on 15th to 25th October 2016. The industrial association initiated the drive strategically before Diwali to clean up the solid waste dumps from road sides and open spaces in the industrial area.
