The industrial estates across the country, in general, produce variety of wastes, including those that fall under the category of Municipal Solid Waste as defined under the Solid Wastes (Management and Handling) Rules, 2000 of the Environment Protection Act. Such wastes, if properly segregated, collected and treated, offer ample opportunities for recycle and reuse.
