Presentation to the Chief Secretary of the Government of Andhra Pradesh on Design Concepts of the women entrepreneurs industrial park at Nandigama (Andhra Pradesh)

On the occasion of the Product India Sales and Exhibition organised by the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP) at Kalinga Bhjawan in Jubilee Hills of Hyderabad, a presentation on the design concepts of the new ALEAP’s Industrial Estate coming up at Nindigama was made by Mr Hrishikesh Mahadev of GIZ before Mrs. Minnie Mathew, Chief Secretary of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

ALEAP developed the First Women Entrepreneur's Industrial Estate in India at Gajularamaram, R.R. District, Hyderabad with the support of Government of India under IID scheme. With the encouragement from the success achieved in development of Industrial Estate at Hyderabad, ALEAP has developed another multi product Industrial cluster for women entrepreneurs with a thrust in Food Processing at, Nunna, Vijayawada. The third estate is coming up at Nandigam Village, near Patancheru in Hyderabad.

The ALEAP’s Industrial Parks is envisioned as a model Sustainable Industrial Park that provides conducive environment for women entrepreneurs and employs state-of-the technologies, including clean technologies, renewable energy technologies, environmental technologies and cost-effective common infrastructure.

GIZ is providing technical support for developing of site master plan of the new industrial estate. ALEAP’s consultants, M/s Murthy & Maniam are involved in preparing the site master plan for the industrial estate.

The Chief Secretary appreciated the initiative taken up by ALEAP-GIZ and requested to inform when the industrial estate gets ready.
